Mrs. Shirley Ann Robinson Heggins Mason, affectionately called "Butch" of 320 Neelytown Rd., China Grove, NC died Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Northeast Medical Center, Concord.

She was born July 7, 1947 in Rowan County to Julia Ramseur Robinson and the late Robert "June" Robinson.

Mrs. Mason attended Aggrey Memorial High School, Landis, NC. She was last employed at the NC Lutheran Home. She was a member of Rose of Sharon Holiness Church where she was a member of the Usher Board, Choir and Missionary Circle. Mrs. Mason also attended Refreshing Springs Christian Ministries and was affiliated with the Salvation Army.

In addition to her father, her husband, Joseph A. Mason and a daughter, Tiffany Mason preceded her in death.

Survivors are sons, Melvin Lewis Robinson and Anthony Bernard Heggins both of China Grove, NC; daughters, Kimilia "Kim" Heggins Caldwell (Kenneth), China Grove, NC and Ida Melissa "Lisa" Heggins, Salisbury, NC; brothers, Roy Robinson, China Grove, NC and Archie McCullough (Vickie), Atlanta, GA; sisters, Kathy Brown and Carolyn Farrow both of Kannapolis, NC, Beverly Mackey (Leonard), Concord, NC, Martha Dunlap and Betty McCullough both of Salisbury, NC; mother-in-law, Molly Mason, Lexington, NC; seven grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral will be Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 3:00 pm and visitation at 3:00 pm at Rose of Sharon Holiness Church with the burial to follow in the church cemetery.
