Mr. Terry Lee Mills, age 50 of Augusta, Georgia, died on Monday, October 12, 2015.  He was formerly of Mooresville, NC.  He was affectionately called "T".  He was the only child of Mrs. Georgia Mills Berryman.  He was born in Mooresville, NC on, August 15, 1965.  His formal education was received in the Mooresville School District.  He graduated from Mooresville High School in 1983.

He served in the US Army and was honorably discharged in 1992, having served from 1983-1992.

Terry loved to read, especially about history, and he enjoyed watching, television.  He was always watching sports.  He was reared in North Carolina with two cousins, Willis and Aaron Mills, who called him their big brother while his mom was serving in the Army.

Terry was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lillian Forar Mills, uncles, John and Ben Douglas and Roger Mills.

He leaves to cherish the memories of his life to his mother, Georgiana Mills-Berryman with whom he had made his home for the past several years; step-father, Elzora Berryman, Jr., uncles, James (Denise) Mills, Willis (Geneva) Mills of Mooresville, NC; aunts, Pauline (Marvin) Colvert; Annie Mills of Statesville, NC and Shirley Mills of Salisbury; a special cousin, Dlisa Caldwell special niece Italia Mills both of Statesville, NC alon with numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral service held: Monday, October 19, 2015 at Gethsemane Baptist Church, at 10:30 a.m., with visitation at 10.00.  Burial followed in the VA National Cemetery, Salisbury.
