Mr. Theodore Redfern, Jr., age 74, of 99 Knights Bridge Way, Mays Landing, NJ died Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at Shore Memorial Hospital, Somers Point, NJ. Mr. Redfern was born November 5, 1932 in Salisbury, NC to the late Theodore H. and Gervaise Witt Redfern, Sr. He graduate from J. C. Price High School and Livingstone College. He retired as a Sales Manager with Fieldcrest Cannon. Mr. Redfern was a member of First Baptist Church of woodbine, NJ and a veteran of the US Army. Survivors are a wife, Marilyn Williams Redfern of the home; sons, Theodore Redfern, III, Warwick, NJ and Todd Redfern (Traci), Maplewood, NJ; daughters, Lafawn Redfern, Ridgewood, NJ and Ronit Redfern, Huntersville, NC; step daughters, Tonya Ramsue (Dennis), Dunn, NC and Adriane Dawson (Thomas), Mays Landing, NJ; brothers, Harold Redfern and Berry J. Redfern both of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Constance "Connie" Wansley and Deanna Martin both of Salisbury, NC; three granddaughters; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Memorial service Wednesday, August 8, 2007, 11:00 am U. S. National Cemetery, Brenner Ave., Salisbury, NC; Reverend Thomas Dawson, Officiating; Military rites by the Salisbury Rowan Honor Guard.
