Mr. Wesley Lee "Wes" Ingram, Sr., age 86, of 1255 Benson St., Salisbury, NC died Sunday, July 29, 2007 at the Brian Nursing Center, Salisbury, NC after several months of illness.

Mr. Ingram was born on May 23, 1921 in South Hill, Va. to the late Charles and Anna Ingram. He was preceded in death by wives, Willena Ingram, who died January, 1981,and Margaret Ingram, who died March 2007; and also two brothers, Ollie and Chester Ingram.

Mr. Ingram was educated in the public schools of South Hill, Va. He was a retired supervisor at McKenzie Taxidermy, and a member of New Smith Chapel Pentecostal Church, where he served as deacon.

Survivors include: Son, Wesley A. Ingram, Jr., (Lucy), Monroe, NC; daughters, Cynthia I. Rankin (Mitchell), Salisbury, NC; and Justina Ingram of the home; step-sons, Robert Valentine, Richmond, Va., and Arthur Lewis Boyd, Richmond, Va., and step-daughter, Marilyn Valentine, Richmond, Va; a special God son, Tommy(Irene)Wilson, Salisbury, NC; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-grand child.

Service will be held on Friday, August 3, 2007 at 3:00 p.m., at New Smith Chapel Pentecostal Church, with Bishop David Chambers, Pastor, officiating.

Visitation: Friday, August 3, 2007, 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the church.

Burial: Church Cemetery
