Mr. Winslow Caldwell, age 69 of 1040 East Lafayette Street, Salisbury, NC slipped into eternal rest on October 17, 2007 at his residence after a brief illness. Mr. Caldwell was born, November 10, 1937 in Rowan County to the late Leon Conner and Rubie Caldwell. He was a graduate of the Rowan County Schools and a veteran of the United States Army. His last employment was with Fieldcrest-Cannon, where he was a forklift driver/operator.

Survivors are devoted cousins, Albert Neely (Wanda) and Fred Neely, all of Salisbury, NC. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the U.S. National Cemetery on Brenner Ave., Salisbury, with military rites following the service. Hairston Funeral Home, Inc., is serving the family.
