Mrs. Isabelle Rice Watson, age 104, passed Friday, Feb. 12, 2016 at her residence. She was born, May 8,1911 in Winnsboro, SC. to the late Gene and Eliza Gaither Rice . She attended the public schools of Winnsboro, SC. She was a housewife. Mrs. Watson previously attended New Zion Baptist Church, Boyden Quarters, Mt. Ulla. She is preceded in death by sisters, Anna Jones, Lula Carr Rosia Sifford; brothers, Gene Rice, John Rice, and Leroy Catten.

Those who shall forever cherish her memory are a son, Lindsay Watson, Sr. of the home; daughter, Maggie Crockett of Salisbury; a sister-in-law, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and great-great-great grandchildren; nices, nephews, cousins and friends.

The visitation was 12:00 noon and the funeral service at 12:30 p.m., at Southern City AME Zion Church with the Rev. Richard Johnson, Eulogist. Interment followed at Oakwood Cemetery. .
